Jesus said the truth will set you free, in my opinion the truth comes from the bible and is taught for us to understand by the "Spirit". Just because you tell someone the truth about themselves does not mean they will be set free.
They have to have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. In other words, have ears to hear the Gospel. If we want to reach and help those that are called out of world, we need to know what GOD is saying in the bible.
